When compared to countries such as Germany with available cyber protection; Turkey has 37 times more Sality and 1.6 times more Zeus Gameover infections. A campaign is being carried out for the awareness of botnets that are being used aggressively to target businesses. Research shows that botnets have been used to carry out cybercrime at 2,000 different organizations in Turkey and probably many more not identified; in a matter of 12 months only.
